Getting Started
To play live games you must have an up to date subscription and have a live play subscription. If you have never played before, you can sign up for a free trial, this will give you 10 days to try it out and get the hang of it before deciding if you would like to continue to play it.

Playing Games Live
There are various ways to start a live game. Once you have signed up for the free trial, go to your manager. You should see an extra link next to your games called "Live". By clicking on this you will be able to play your game live. If you start playing live in this way, you will need to let your opponent know you are on and ready to play live, to do this You need to click on the link "Invite your opponent to play". This will send them notifcation that you are waiting online for them and they will have a link to click on that will allow them to join the game. You can also start playing live games from the Waiting Room (see below for details).

When it is your turn, your game will load automatically, at the end of your turn, you will be returned to the page that says "waiting for your opponent to play". You MUST leave this page open, If you leave this page, you will no longer be playing live. Your games automatically start from this page. So the only time it shouldnt be seen is while you are playing your turn.

You can play up to 5 games live at a time. To do this you need to open a new tab or window, and open your games in them. You can also continue to play 1 game non live while you are playing your live games,again , you will need to open a new tab or window to play it.

Waiting Room
The waiting room allows you to create games and wait for an opponent to join, you can join games already created here and you can also see if your friends are online at the moment.

Create New game: In the waiting room, click on Create Game to create a new game, select the type of game you want to create and click "create". You will then be taken to the normal create game page. You only need to enter your own details here, your opponent will enter their own information when they join the game. When you have created the game, it will allow you to play the first turn and take you to the "Waiting for opponent to play" page. You need to leave this page open while you wait for an opponent to join you.

Join Game: In the waiting room, you will first see a list of games waiting for opponents to join. If you want to join one of these games, click on the link next to them called "Join Game". You will be asked to enter your screen name. After entering your screen name, you will taken to the live game page and be able to play live as usual.

My Friends: My Friends allows you to set up a list of players you like to play and see if they are online or not. To set up a list , enter in your friends screen names in the box provided, make sure you only put one name on a line. Save your list when you are done and the My Friends page will show you their current status.
