Welcome to Live Play!

What is Live Play?: Live play allows you and your opponent to play your game in real time, without delays. Live games automatically start your game when it is your turn and will display a message when it is not your turn. Both players must be playing through the Live Play system. You can stop Live Play and go back to normal play any time, any game can be played as Live Play or Normal Mode.

System Requirements: You are required to have a up to date browser in order for Live Play to work.

We recommend:
Safari (Mac and Windows)
Firefox (Mac and Windows)
Internet Explorer 7 and Opera 9 will also work.

Invitations: You may invite your opponent to join you in Live Play, by signing into a game through Live Play and clicking on the invite player link.

You may also send out a global invitation via the special Live Play Waiting Area, so that other Live Play players can join you in a game.

How much does it cost?: Live play is free, but you must sign up to use the service, You also must have unlimited turns.

Do I have to play all my games live?: No, you can just play whatever games you want live and play the rest turn based.

What if I have to leave halfway through a game?: You can leave and come back to the game at a later time either as a live game, or you can just play it in the usual way.

How do I know if my friends are online at the moment?: Check the Find Friends list on the Live Play waiting area. You can add screen names to your friends list to have easy access to see if they are currently online.

How many live games can I play at a time?: You can play up to 5 live games at a time, you can also still play 1 game in the usual way while you have live games going. To play more than one game at a time, you need to open the games in a new Tab or Window.
